After months of development, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of the zkLink Alpha Mainnet! The zkLink Alpha Mainnet is an important chapter in DeFi as for the first time ever, the crypto community will be able to enter our multi-rollup Layer 3 environment. Included in this launch are our notable partners from zkSync, Polygon zkEVM, Linea and Scroll, as each of these Layer 2 rollups have been successfully integrated into our zkLink Nexus Alpha Mainnet.

To celebrate this milestone with our users, we are launching the zkLink Alpha Playground! The Playground is an interactive platform that enables users to directly engage with the zkLink protocol, providing hands-on experience with zkLink’s non-custodial Layer 3 (L3) account.

Users will have the exclusive opportunity to bridge funds and interact with our diverse ecosystem of decentralized applications (dApps). This is your chance to experience the forefront of blockchain technology and shape the future of zkLink and DeFi.

What’s a launch without a celebration? With the support of our L2 ZK Rollup giants, we’ll be celebrating the event with a Galxe campaign for our community. 3. Make a deposit from one of our partner rollups to the zkLink Alpha Playground

Users who complete each task can win 30 points + 1 special OAT.

The zkLink Playground serves as a cost-effective bridge, facilitating asset transfers between zkLink-supported networks. It typically offers lower fees compared to other bridges.

To begin, head over to the zkLink Nexus Playground (https://playground-nexus.zk.link/). Connect your wallet and deposit assets on the Deposit Page. Then, activate your account by signing a message on the Withdrawal Page (this step is free). Lastly, choose the destination chain, token, and amount for withdrawing your assets, and sign the transaction.

Users will be able to bridge from their favorite L2 Rollups on the following dates:

26th Dec 6pm SGT — 30th Dec 6pm SGT (zkSync)
28th Dec 6pm SGT — 1st Jan 6pm SGT (Scroll)
4th Jan 6pm SGT — 8th Jan 6pm SGT (Linea)
8th Jan 6pm SGT — 12th Jan 6pm SGT (Polygon zkEVM)
